Meet the committee:
The committee is made up of all volunteer’s. Our primary purpose is to manage the village hall and its activities to ensure we are raising enough funds each year to be able to maintain the hall and keep it viable. The hall is a vital part of our community and offers a life line for many residents. We offer the Apple n Bee pub, Community Cafe and bingo on a regular basis, an annually The Appleby Music Festival. We meet once a month as a committee and all new members are very welcome to join.

Hall Hire Charge Guide
from 1st January 2024
We intend to be as flexible as possible with all bookings and can offer tailored rates for each user based on hourly use and the facilities required, however our standard rate for a single day hire is £75 for the whole hall.
Options for early access / later exit / clear up and additional parking on the playing field if/as required are considered in the booking. We do however require a refundable deposit to secure all bookings in line with our T&Cs, which is based on the hire requirements.
Rates for events requiring the hall over a longer period will be negotiated according to use, and the field can also be hired with or independently to the hall. However, again we intend to tailor these options to your specific needs. So to make a booking and for further information please email:
